Dr Judith Schweimer of the Sharp group in Pharmacology was runner-up in this year’s Sherrington Poster Prize at the 8th Oxford Neuroscience Symposium, held Wednesday 22 March at the Maths Institute. Judith’s poster was titled: “The effects of the novel antidepressant vortioxetine on 5HT3R-expressing interneurons in the medial prefrontal cortex”. In addition, Dr Sarah Newey was awarded first prize in the BRAINScapes Image Competition for her photo titled: “The Birth of Human Neurones”
