My job focuses on assaying by Real Time PCR the Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms (SNPs) primarily involved in the metabolism of the protein homocysteine & its relationship to Alzheimer’s Disease. I also set up assays for other SNPs potentially involved in Alzheimer’s Disease. The rest of the team are involved in studying obesity using LC & GC MS
